Land of Thousand Islands Indonesia
(Color Edition)
Indonesia is a vast island nation in South East Asia stretching over 5000 km from East to West. Rich with the cultural heritage of Borobudur and Prambanan temples, the country offers vibrant destinations like Bali and the remote wilderness of Borneo and Komodo island. My journey through the heartland of Indonesia took me to these fascinating places. The magnificent architecture of the temples awed me. I couldn’t help feeling an adrenaline rush when I faced the near-extinct Komodo dragons. I enjoyed the starry nights over the dense Borneo forest where the night birds steadily chirped ‘ti-ti-ti’ into the blanket of darkness. The sound of crickets from the distant bush and swamps transformed the nights into fantasy worlds. I sat on a boat over the Sekonyer river in the middle of the night and enjoyed the ‘sound of silence’ around me. I closed my eyes and the images of Indonesia that I grew up with in my bedtime stories were brought to life in the jungles of Borneo and in the rolling hills of Komodo and Rinca islands. The book takes the reader through this journey.

Vietnam Theke Bolchi (Black and White Edition)

Africa - My Story
Why do I keep coming back to Africa? It is not the safari; it’s the wilderness of the continent that attracts me like a magnet. Its unkempt nature, unforgiving wilderness, red earth, Maasai people, beautiful acacia trees and blooming jacaranda—they all define my love for Africa. “I had a farm in Africa at the foot of the Ngong Hills.” Yes, Out of Africa is an epic movie that has shaped my thoughts and inspired me to travel to Africa over and over again. No matter how many times I travel to Africa, my quest for Africa never ends. Sitting alone in the bushland on a moonlit night, I hear the night birds chirping and an owl hooted somewhere. I feel the moon drops silently dripping down on me. I love it! A star-filled African night whispers in my ears—“Stay with me.” I close my eyes. I hear Denys Finch in Out of Africa saying, “I don’t want to live someone else’s idea of how to live.” Denys was so right! Yes, that is the Africa I fell in love with, and that is my story I would love to share with you.

Vietnam Diary
Vietnam is a country with colourful past but it has also endured turbulent times. The Chinese dynasty reigned over Vietnam for over a thousand years, the French turned the country into its colony; and just a few decades ago Vietnam fought back to drive away a superpower like America with literally nothing but its tremendous courage and will power. Still, the country has always been loving and welcoming to visitors. It is to understand this bittersweet dichotomy that the author undertakes an incredible journey from the Extreme North to the Deep South of this magnificent country.
Join Amitabha Gangopadhyay as he takes you on a fun, thrilling and fact-filled trip for two weeks to some landmark destinations across Vietnam, meanwhile introducing to us the nuances of Vietnamese life, history and culture. As he embraces the warm and welcoming hearts of the Vietnamese people during his travel, Amitabha reflects his experiences to share with the others.
This book is not just a travel journal, but an outsider’s view and understanding the strength of a country that has seen turmoil but still ploughs on forward proudly.

Aparup Thailand
Aparup Thailand (Magnificent Thailand) takes you on an epic journey through another world in Thailand that is beyond the glitter of the big cities. That world is not made of pomp and glories, but the sentiment and happiness of the common folks like you and I make that world. The real pulse of Thailand echoes there from the dusty roads of the rural countryside where one can find the children playing football in the dusk of the setting sun. In his journey deep into the country, the author blends with the common people of Thailand, and brings home their love and friendship to share with the readers like you. Aparup Thailand portrays a journey that no other travel book brings to you.

Ek Mutho Akasher Jonney
We have always wanted to fly like a bird from the ancient days. The desire led us to invent airplanes and other flying machines. But we were never satisfied seating inside an airplane; we wanted to feel the empty space around us, we wanted to feel the adrenaline rush jumping from fifteen thousand feet in the air, we wanted to indulge us in the monkey business of Ziplining…just to be consistent with the Darwin theory of evolution! The writer brings these thrill seeking games in his book using his novel and catchy skill of story-telling. Once you start reading it, you will never be able to leave it aside until you are done with the book. It is just fantastic!
